THE IMMORTAL JELLYFISH Flash character / instrument, 2004 THE IMMORTAL JELLYFISH was created for VES 59r "Interactive Animation" in which the assignment was to create a character that facilitated creative interaction. I decided to use the model of the immortal jellyfish as a metaphor for a looping instrument—both represent interconnected systems that resonate in what becomes a sublime perpetuity. |
