SURPRISE ~7 minutes, summer 2005. Loopable DVD with diagetic audio. In SURPRISE, we see a static shot of a clearing in the woods. In real time, we watch the visual elements of the shot change at their own pace--clouds move away to brighten the clearing, wind whistles past the camera. After about five minutes, I execute a joke, which continues for the rest of the piece.
